My mother in law has a Garmin and has been very pleased with the results. It has a touch screen and is very easy to use. They were cautious with it at first, only using it to get to places that they were familiar with, but have since branched out and are depending on it to get them wherever they need to go. The interface is user friendly and the speaker is very clear so you don’t have to look at the screen in order to receive the next direction. It finds the satellite very quickly, so you know the directions are going to be up to date every time you fire it up. They really don’t have any complaints to speak of and we got where we had to go, so if you’re in the market for an effective and affordable GPS, I’d recommend the Garmin Nuvi 255.

I have read good reviews on the Garmin GPS-I'm considering getting one for my husband for Christmas.
