The World
My Experiences:
I was at the dollar store shopping for crafts for the children, when my ten year old saw a map of the world. A full size map. She wanted it for her room. To help her with her geography.
I couldn't resist getting it for her. When my children are intested in learning. I will do anything to help.
This map was surprisingly durable. I mean if someone wanted to rip it , that would happen easily enough. It does have a laminate on it to help with duability.
This map has to poles. one on the top and one on the bottom. It gomes with a string to post on her bedroom wall.
I did tell my daughter that she will not be using this map to cheat on her homework. She can study the map to help with her tasks at school though.
A great think to have in any home.

I think it is a really good thing to have, for a child.
Maps are great knowledge, and I think that they are a great thing to have in the home indeed. A globe as well should be in the home.
Even if not used for school a good look at the world around us, good purchase.
