Hawaiian Heirloom Bracelet In Sterling Silver

Share and Enjoy:

I LOVE Hawaiian Heirloom jewelry! It is extremely popular in Hawaii. It is available in rings (including beautiful wedding sets!) earrings, bracelets, and pendants.

I think the coolest thing about Hawaiian Heirloom jewelry is that you can personalize it, and design it yourself! You can choose the weight and for some pieces shape (like a bracelet) you can choose a tradional bracelet shape (circular) or choose to have it more of an oval shape so that it fits the shape of your wrist better. You can also have the "face" of the bracelet flat or barreled (rounded). You can get them in Gold, Pure Silver, Sterling Silver or mixed/two tone...I think you can even get it in platnum.

The personalized part is cool...You can have writing done on the bracelet (It is usually done in black enamil and engraving) ..." Kuu Ipo"  is a very popular and general Hawaiian word that people use. It means "sweet heart". When you see the jewelry in a store, that is usually what they will have on their display models. You can buy them just like that however it much nicer to order them and have your child/children's names put on them, your name, your last name, or whatevr you choose. Yoo also select the engraved design that covers the entire bracelet-I have a scalloped Maile design. i will try to get some pictures posted because it is hard to describe hopefully the detail will show. There are traditional and modern patterns for the detail/engraving that you can choose from to design your bracelet...a more modern design for example- they have sea turtles, bamboo, and dolphins.

Mine was a a Mother's day gift and has my 3 girls names on it. It was done in Silver because I prefer silver.  I have handed it down to my oldest daughter as a gift when she had her daugter.  She was thrilled because for as long as she could remember I had worn that bracelet!

I know you can find Hawaiian Heirloom jewelry online, I think they are next to impossible to find in a store here on the "mainland" but I do highly recommend Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry! Unique, high Quality, great for gifts!Oh...of course if you get to go to Hawaii on vacation..AWESOME SOUVENEIR!
