I recently got my hands on the Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable) Slim and Lite or the PSP-2000 and I have just one word for it...Awesome. As soon as I opened it's box and took out the PSP, I fell in love with it. It was of a glossy Piano Black finish and I couldn't get my eyes off the large 4.3" LCD Screen. One thing that adds to the classy touch is the PSP logo at the back of the PSP which is enclosed within a circle.

I quickly inserted a battery and a Memory Stick Pro Duo and turned it on. Whoa... The LCD Screen showed a text like "Sony Computer Entertainment" and suddenly the screen bursted into XMB Waves which made up the interface. Amazing animation. Since it is a toy, it uses animation all over it's interface. There are loads of themes available on the Internet .

The Picture quality is awesome on the bright LCD Screen. Moreover, you can make use of wifi to use it as an internet device for softwares like Web Browser, GO! Messenger, Internet Radio, RSS Reader,Skype that come inbuilt in it.

The only think that is not good is the Loudspeaker sound. The loudspeaker doesn't provide loud music in mp3s. It is very irritating in noisy surroundings. Therefore, it is recommended to use and 3.5 mm Headphones.

The graphics of the games are awesome and they give out astonishing frame rates. Moreover you can hack your PSP to unlock a whole new world of PS Potentials, making it able to play free downloaded games and PS One OR PSX Games. You can install Windows on it and even some Homebrew apps. But all at one price, doing so voids the warranty of the PSP.

The Original also delivers you enough to feed, only the costly and unpiratable games are heavy on the pocket. There are loads of accessories, like the Memory Stick of different storage sizes, extra battery pack for hardcore gamers, PSP Camera (GO! Cam), Headphones with remote control, USB data cable, AV Output cable (Composite and Component), Screen Protector, Carrying Case, UMD Case, LCD Screen Cleaner, PSP Stand, External speakers,Charger, etc.

Watching videos is a breeze and you should seriously have one, as a Portable Entertainment console for you and your kids/partner/friends, etc. Also it is an amazing thing to attract people and no wonder you will be getting new friends once you take your PSP on a ride with you in the mall.
