TD Accidental Life Insurance

For a meager $18 per month our entire family is covered in the event that any of us should meet with an accidental death.  For each of our children, the policy will pay $25,000 which really is basically enough to take care of funeral expenses but in my opinion, a parent really shouldn't "profit" from the death of a child and we really took this policy out so that our children wouldn't have to worry if anything ever happened to us accidentally.  We are covered for $500,000 each ensuring that our children will never have to worry if such should ever actually happen.

We took this insurance coverage out because we often do a lot of out of town travel by car and even if we are unfortunate enough to be in a plane crash, vehicle crash or train crash or other accident that should take our life - our policy will cover the expenses necessary to care for burial and not leave our children or our spouse with any debt or worry.

This insurance is so small in premium that it doesn't bother me that there is no cash value should I choose to cancel it tomorrow, but the piece of mind that it offers us is immeasurable, $18 per month is peanuts compared to devastation that any of our family's accidental death would leave us - I'm more than happy to pay to ensure that none of our children will ever have to face financial difficulty during such a difficult time.  I watched as a friend of my oldest son's struggled after the death of both her mother and father and I never want that for my children.  This policy ensures that I won't have to worry.
