Ms. Manicure - Nails in the Buff

Included in the Ms. Manicure kit is: a nail clipper, rollable cuticle oil, cuticle pusher, mini square salon board (nail filer), and shiner & buffer. It wasn't expensive, but the person who bought it for me ripped the price off so I'm not sure how much it was. I imagine it was only about $3 (at Five Below, atleast.) Anyway, I used it about an hour after I got it. My nails were already clipped, so I didn't use the nail clipper, and I didn't use the nail filer either. The instructions state to first clip your nails, roll the cuticle oil onto your nail beds, push the cuticles back into place, use the nail filer to shape your nails, and then buff and shine your nails with the shiner and buffer square. I used the oil, pushed my cuticles back, and buffed and shined my nails in that order; and I have to admit that once I was done I was pretty shocked. I didn't think a cheap little manicure kit would actually make my nails looks shiny and healthy. They weren't overly shiny, but a nice natural-looking shine. I'm not sure how long the shine lasts, since  I painted my nails right after finishing the mini manicure, but if you see this kit and don't feel like spending $50 on a manicure kit (because I have before, sadly) or getting a pro-manicure, then buy the Ms. Manicure: Nails in the Buff kit!
