PrintWorks labels seemed to be fine until the mail started to be returned because the labels were unreadable!
I have occasion to print an average of 150 labels a month. When the brand I had been using was no longer available locally, I tried Printworks. The packages clearly state “Guaranteed great results on any inkjet or laser printer.” I have a laser printer, quite a good one, and the labels looked fine after I printed them. The pages worked well with my software, they peeled off the sheet nicely to put on the envelopes, and none of them jammed in the printer.
However, as you can see in the second picture, the ink seriously wears off the labels! I did not alter that photo in any way. I wonder how many days passed, or trips through automated equipment occurred before they were not legible. I had noticed that I had to pause a few seconds between printing each page of labels or I would get shadow smudges down the length of the sheet.
I have not tried these with an inkjet printer, but I would have to say that they are not suited for laser printing.
The company’s web site does not say anything about a guarantee. They do have a “contact us” interface. The back of the package says, “If you don’t like PrintWorks better than your current brand, just contact us and we’ll send you a refund.” I have not tried this to see if they will honor this request, because I had to turn the receipts for the labels in to the organization for which I print them.
Did you know that all revenue a review earns monthly is split with the voters that voted for that review each month?
Oh my goodness...that's horrible! I was just about to start looking for printing labels. I'll stay away from these for sure. Thanks!
I've had good luck with Staples brand
Oh wow...what a let down. I think I will stick with Avery products! Thanks for sharing!

Contact them anyway. They may give you a refund anyway. I have had companies do this for me before. The price of a refund is sometimes worth it to a company if it means getting some good "press".
