Here is a quick tip for all of you coffee drinkers, who like to drink your coffee by the pot-full throughout the day. Get an insulated carafe, to keep your freshly made coffee in. When you leave your fresh brew sitting in the coffee maker carafe for more than a short time, it starts tasting funky.

We were at the mall and stopped into "Crate and Barrel". Jan, my wife picked up the Omni, Carafe to look it over. A light went off in my head. "Yes! Get it."

I drink a lot of coffee throughout the day. Although I have become accustomed to reheating morning coffee in the microwave oven, this was getting as stale as the coffee in the afternoon.

It's a 50oz. Carafe, double-walled stainless steel, instead of glass for insulation. This is a good thing, because the glass can crack. It keeps the coffee warm for about 8 hours and the coffee tastes as fresh as it was, when it was brewed that morning. Of course, it does not have to be coffee. You can use this Omni, Carafe for any hot, or cold beverage.

The Omni carafe washes up well. The handle stays cool and the carafe is durable. I have accidently knocked it off the kitchen counter a couple of times.

Over all, it was a good investment, toward insuring my coffee habit.
