Recently, an article on“anti-aging medicines”raised a question in my mind “Is My Eye Cream, an Anti-Ageing Cream?”

For a couple of months I have been using Loreal's Anti-ageing Eye Cream. This product offers two main ingredients i.e. PRO Retinol and Elastin which increase or speeds up the process of skin cell renewal and boosts elasticity. As we get older our skin takes longer to renew itself and its elasticity deteriorates with time.

How to Use:

The product comes with the following instruction on it's jar:

- first, apply in small dots round the eye area with ring finger,

- then, rub gently until it thoroughly absorbs.

I thoroughly follow the procedure i.e. after washing or cleansing my face carefully, I apply rose-water toner over my face, and then apply L'oreal eye cream around my eyes. The cream goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly in my skin.

Experience

Advanced Revita Lift Eye is non-greasy, and is very light textured. Revita Lift Eye Cream can also be easily applied under your eye makeup as well. It does not smear, sting or irritate, even after wearing for several hours. Advanced RevitaLift Eye Cream does not has a very strong fragrance. Though it does smell like my hair removing cream, but that's definitely not very irritating, lolz

Result :

I have used many Anti-wrinkle Eye Creams before RevitaLift Eye Cream, but even after two months of application none of these creams seem to have any effect on the lines around my eyes. I found out that all of these creams are useless. I see some improvement immediately after I apply L'oreal's Eye cream but it only lasts an hour or so. It has been unable to bring any long term improvement in the lines around my eyes. I would recommend Advanced Revita Lift Eye as a good moisturizer for eyes' areas, but not as an anti-wrinkle eye cream at all. It does temporarily soothe the area around the eyes but that's all it can do.

Tip:

The area around our eyes have a very delicate skin, so don't ever forget to wear good sunscreen around that area whenever you are planning to go out in Sun. It helps in protecting the sensitive skin from harsh sun rays and slows the process of ageing. Have a happy Sunny day!!
