Revo sunglasses
By jb_shops onI bought these as a replacement to a pair of Maui Jim's that I loved. The sales rep suggest Revo as something that I might like better. That did not meet expectations. While I found the style on-par with the Maui Jim's, the durability was an extreme issue.I am very careful with my glasses (never wear on the top of my head and haven't dropped them), but both lenses cracked at the outside attachment point.I thought it was just a freak thing, until after receiving a warranty replacement from SGH and that pair did the exact same thing!!!
I'll go back to Maui Jim.

Sounds like the quality wasn't up to par.
I don't know anything about these brands but if you are spending almost 300.00 on a pair of sunglasses, they should last a really long time. I'm glad they sent you a replacement, too bad they did not last either.
Wow $289 glasses that broke twice! Just proves, price doesn't always equal quality. I bought $5 reading glasses at the dollar store that lasted longer than the expensive pair from the eye doctor!
wow you think they would have been made much better for that price! I would return them! Thanks for the heads up!
Wow! I cannot believe that an expensive pair of Revo's would have such a horrible design flaw! I would be absolutely livid if I could not get my money back after the 2nd pair cracked in the exact same spot as the first. Thank you for letting us know about this problem.
Cheesy glasses for too much dough! What a headache!
Oh my gosh-both lenses broke?! I'm with you-I'd go back to Maui Jim's too! Revo is such a good brand too.
OMG, for that price you ought to be able to jump up and down on them without them cracking!
Wow, for that much money I would expect impeccable durability. Thank you for sharing your experience with these, and sparing someone else from having the same thing happen to them.
Wow, for almost $300 I'd expect a LOT better quality. I agree that Maui Jim's are indeed a great brand though.
