Revolver By Ntmanning on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Revolver was the tipping off point for the Beatles jumping into the deep end with major albums Sgt. Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour. The final song, "Tomorrow Never Knows," was written by John Lennon and was very trippy and would I think would fit better on the Sergent Peppers or Magical Mystery Tour album. My other favorites on the album are George Harrison complaining about the high amount of taxes they paid in "Taxman," which I think everyone can relate too! The amazingly catchy "Eleanor Rigby" is the only Beatles song my girlfriend likes, and it was written by both McCartney and Lennon. "For No One," is one of John Lennons favorite Paul McCartney tracks and is one of my favorites as well. It isn't very well known, but the lyrics just really get to me. Overall this album has a good solid lineup of songs that kept me entertained and wanting more, which I was able to get from their next several albums.
