Rewards 660 credit card is the way to go for me!
By Stephanie Mas onI have been trying to get at least one credit card to keep in my name for emergencies. After numerous turn downs I had heard about Rewards 660. I conteplated applying because I was afraid that yet again I would be turned down and points would be take (yet again) from my credit score... points I couldn't afford to loose.
After some thought and discussion with my husband I finally decided to apply. After doing the online application I was informed within 24 hours that i had been approved and that they would be sending me my card within 7-10 business days. The following day, someone from Rewards 660 called me to verify my employment, make sure that I was the one that actually filled out the credit application, and to go over the terms and condition in case I had questions.
The card does not offer any rewards or cash back options because it is cfor people with bad credit or no credit at all. The interest rate is very high (19.92%), and there are fees to the credit card. Your initial balance is $300 but the first time you get the card there is a one time account set up fee of $97, a one time porgram fee of $95, an annual fee of $48, and a particiation fee if $120 which only leaves $50 balance on the card. To know why I would apply for such a card, you have to know what my credit is like.
All of that being said, I really like the card. I can use it anywhere and I can make my payment online. My minimum payment is $40 but I can chose the pay the whole thing off and keep it for emergencies. The good thing about the card is that everything 3 months (after continuous on time payments, they increase my limit up to $75. After 1 year, the interest rate is accessed and will decreased based on payments made throughout that year.
Overall, this credit card serves my purposes and I would reccomend it to anyone that is looking at getting a credit card to help them with their credit.

I just heard about these cards somewhere else. They really stick it to you in the beginning, but for someone like you who is really trying to build a better credit rating it may well be the only way to work your way to a better card option.
