Rice Cooker By 3 Robins By 3Robins on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Do you love to eat rice, but have a difficult time getting it just right? Have I got the appliance for you! This is actually my third Black & Decker rice cooker within 12 years. My first one (recieved as a wedding gift) was very small and I soon realized that I wanted a bigger one. I used the second rice cooker for about ten years, the switch finally quit on me. I purchased my lastest rice cooker only a few months ago. ( I gave that extra info so that you would not think that this product was not durable)

The rice cooker comes with a measuring cup and measurement guide for cooking the right amount. The actual cooking pot is non-stick and dishwasher safe, which always makes for easy clean up. Just lift it out of the cooker and wash!

I don't just use this product for cooking plain rice. I jazz up my rice dishes by adding cheese, sausage (my son's favorite), broccoli with lemon pepper seasoning, and my lastest discovery...dill weed. (delicious with fish). It is another one of those appliances that you throw in the ingredients and let it cook by itself. It's like have someone cook for you! Of all of my kitchen gadgets, I think that the rice cooker has been used the most and it has definately been with me the longest (even though I'm on my third one!)
