Rings Tied Up In Knots On The Pillow By jb_shops on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
The Chinese says this is the year of the dog (2008); I say it is the year of the weddings! Oh my, everyone is getting married this year. A close friend tied the knot last month and she was brave ... I mean really brave. She not only had the flower girl to drop the rose petals on the carpet, but she also had a three year old boy act as the ring bearer. But wait there's more...they attached the real rings to the pillow. He did a great job, but mercy it nearly drove the bride's mother to drinking and I don't think she has touched a drop of the evil juice in her life.
The bride chose a Love Knot wedding ring bearer pillow in ivory. Think of a 2" ribbon wrapped like a package (plus sign) and then tied in a large bow. There are 2 long thin ribbons that allow you attach the rings to the pillow if you are so inclined.
The material was a matted satin. The ivory mirrored the simple elegance of the wedding theme of the older couple (mid 30's). It is also available in white.
The pillow was bought off of BridalPeople.com website. This was part of my wedding gift to the bride. I think she really like. I was pleased.

"Older couple?" 30? Oh, oh, now I know I'm a dinosaur! Sounds lovely though, and how nice of you to be a part of those memories.
Let's raise a toast of "evil juice" to the ring bearer pillow! :-)
I agree, Sharky! How is mid 30s older? Ack! Do not tell me these things! The pillow sounds beautiful... but I guess that is just me and my older taste! ;-)
It sounds like a very pretty ring pillow.
Nice info for those tying the Knot. This would be a good brides gift indeed. :)
This sounds like a great idea so the rings stay in place.
When my cousin Jack got married, the ring bearer carried a similar pillow sent from Spain. It was a lovely thing, and the tied rings represented the bond between two people.
What a beautiful pillow-I hope the bride's mom didn't drink too terribly much!!
I'm glad the pillow worked out well for the happy couple. I understand why the bride's mother might have been driven to drink thinking about the wedding rings being dropped by a 3 year old!
