Risk 2210 A.D.

This is the game of Risk in the future. You control your forces on earth but you also have the chance to colonize the moon. The first time I played this game was with my son and daughter in law. They had played several times and were more familiar with it ( don't you hate kids sometimes). Anyway the amount of dice you roll is based on how many forces you have in the country. My daughter in law was ALWAYS very quick to say "you only get to roll one die", as she wiped out country after country of mine. This is a very very long game to play. You won't have time to play any other game but this one in an evening. It takes 3-4 hours to play one game. You purchase different commanders:Diplomat, Land, Naval, Nuclear andSpace to add points to your countries. This is a game where luck plays a little part, strategy a whole lot and not having someone point out "you only get to roll one die". You take turns placing your men in different countries and then you try to defend them. You win when you have control over all the countries and the moon. It is boring if you are the first person knocked off and you have to watch everyone else play for 2 hours. You roll dice to determine damage so that is where the luck comes in. This game takes a while to learn to play but it can be a lot of fun. If you have the time to spend on it.
