Ritter Sport Whole Almonds By Crissy Taruc on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband's childhood friend just came from abroad after his 6 month contract. He dropped by at home, had a little chat and handed over pack of assorted chocolates. I always wonder why Filipinos who come abroad usually have chocolates as presents. Is it because chocolates abroad are really diverse as to taste, quality, ingredients and classes or the more affordable presents? Just joking. It's the thought that counts of course.

Among the chocolates in the bag I like this RITTER SPORT WHOLE ALMONDS. First, I do love almonds. I love it roasted, plain or a bit salty in flavor. My liking to dark chocolates depends on the sweetness of it. I am not fond of eating so sweet one. With this particular chocolate, I like the mixture of dark chocolate and whole almonds. The chocolate is so smooth and not so sweet and the crunch and taste of almond compliments with each other. There are whole almonds coated with smooth dark chocolate.

I kept the chocolates for the kids but when I saw the almonds I can't help but taste it at first. When I like the mixture I got 2 packs of it and finish it in 2 days while blogging at night. I told hubby's friend that I love the Ritter Sport chocolate he gave to us and he promised to give me more on his next visit.
