Rival 18 Qt. Roaster Oven wBuffet Server

This roaster was an early bird special one Saturday before the holidays last year.It came with a free Rival electric knife so the price couldnt be beat.I needed a big roaster as it was our families turn for the big Christmas gathering.I needed a roaster big enought to make swiss steak for 40 people.This roaster worked perfect.It came with a removable roasting pan so clean up afterwards was very easy.It's been borrowed and used many times over the past year and it still looks new.The other nice feature was a buffet server frame which holds 3 removable serving dishes.I used this for a party and could keep 3 separate dishes warm with one container.I needed only to put some water in the bottom of the roaster and that kept the dishes heated.This Thanksgiving I plan to use to roasting rack to cook my turkey on so then I will have used all the accessories.It's a large piece of cookware and I have to keep it up in a closet but I wouldn't be without it for those special occasions.The temperature range in 150 to 450 degrees which is great for keeping food warm to oven cooking.There is only one thing I would mention and that is to be very careful when lifting the lid as the steam can be very, very hot, otherwise I highly recommend this appliance.

Update On Jun 08, 2010: I finally remembered to take a picture of my Rival roaster as it is loaned out so often between family members.My sister-in-law just used it to make Kapusta (polish sauerkraut) for 200 people at a graduation party.
