I had been wanting a crockpot for days when I knew I was going to be gone all day so I could prepare dinner and have it cooking while I was gone. I had decided to change my kitchen colors to red and was at Target one day and saw the Rival 4qt crock pot it was oval shaped and only $29.99 I did not want to spend tons of money because I didn't know how many times I would actually use it. It has a non stick coating and the inside of it pulls out for easy cleaning and can even be put in the dishwasher. It has 3 settings low , hot and warm. We are a family of 4 with 2 small children and this is perfect size for us I can put a nice size roast and potatos and vegetables in wiht no problem. I use it all the time everything is cooked evenly and is very tender. Unfortunately as my kids appetites are getting bigger I am going to have to invest in a larger model but this was a great investment because I can take it to parties and plan on using it for my side dishes.
