It's always nice to come home to a delicious smelling apartment after a long day at the office. With my rival crockpot I can safely and easily cook a warm meal over the course of a day without any worries. Throw in some pork, vegetables, seasonings, and a small amount of flavorful liquid and set it on low to cook all day. It's also great for cooking applesauce down to apple butter.

Two of my favorite features of this model are it's easily removable stoneware, which makes clean up very easy, and the treated glass lid. It's nice to be able to see what you're cooking without having to remove the lid and let heat escape.

Other features include a great non-stick surface which cleans up beautifully, and the added plus of the stoneware being dishwasher safe. The oval shape is really suitable for cooking whole chickens (up to about 4lbs I'd say) and great for pork shoulder.

4 quarts is the perfect size for my needs. If you have a larger family or cook often for groups of people, you may want to consider a larger model. For the price, this is an excellent product that takes a lot of work out of getting a hot meal on the table.
