Rock Band

Rock Band was one of the most anticipated games of 2007 and with good reason. After the tremendous success of the guitar hero franchise, the idea of getting an entire band together was a little much for gamers. Did Rock Band live up to the hype? For the most part, yes.

There's nothing like Rock Band available right now. Getting a whole group of friends together and forming a band - completely with lead guitarist, bassist, singer, and drummer - is probably the most fun you'll ever have. The selection of songs is amazing and more songs become available - at a price - every week.

However, it goes without saying that better care could've went into the instrument quality. A large portion of the guitars have been faulty - mine was plagued with a faulty strum bar - and I've heard numerous reports of the drum set's foot pedal snapping in half. That being said, EA, is pretty good at exchanging broken stuff.
