Rock Band
By TehMuff1nM4n onThe price of the newest game out by game developer Harmonix may be a little steep for the average consumer, but that shouldn't make you not pick up this game. If you are familar with the Guitar Hero series, then this game may seem familar. This game has the same elements that are in Guitar Hero, hitting the buttons or whatever scrolls across screen in time with the music. What is different in this game compared to Guitar Hero though, is that you not only get to play guitar, but sing and even play drums! The special edition of this game comes with a drum kit, one guitar, and a microphone, along with the core game. There aren't as many songs in this game as you would get in Guitar Hero. If I remember correctly it comes with around 50 songs. But another awesome feature is that every week new songs are released via Xbox Live or Playstation Network. This allows for a huge library of songs. This game is a must own, this isn't just for gamers, this is a game that the whole family will love. One of the things that I didn't like about the bundle was the guitar, the strum bar was too mushy and didn't make a clicking noise. I found the drums a lot of fun to play, but the kick pedal did seem to feel a little cheap. I would have to say my favorite part of the game is the newly featured drum sections. I loved this game and feel you would like it too.
