Rockband

I have had a very good experience with the rockband game for playstation 3.

Its probably one of the best party games out there, albeit quite expensive.

In my humble Opinion, rockband blows guitar hero out of the water, guitar hero just had little appeal to me. Why would you want to solo out to a difficult song by yourself? Why arent these bass parts more extensive? I always found myself asking.

Rockband fixes those problems, and adds Drums, and microphones. However the price is still a serious issue with the game. 169.99, I spent it because I wanted a decent party game for the Playstation three, and I got it, but I still dont have a second guitar which would cost a whole nother $59.99 if I wanted to do guitar parts and bass parts simultaneously- bringing the cost up to $230.

I could buy a crappy laptop for that, or even an XBOX 360, but I must say Rockband is a great experience with friends, offline and on. The song choice of the game is great, and the online packs are good too. My belief is that rockband marks the end for Guitar hero, especially if they lower the prices a little bit.
