Rocky Balboa By Feezle on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Not so fresh from an upset, Sylvester Stallone magically revived The Itallian Stallion for one final round. By taking what worked from the original "Rocky" and mixing it with the action that dominated "Rocky III" and "Rocky IV", Stallone created a winning combination that almost makes you forgive him for the fifth installment in the series. The first hour and ten minutes of the film is kinda slow paced, but it works. Rocky is not on top of the world anymore but he is doing his best to get by. When a computer generated fight between Rocky and the reigning champ (Antonio Tarver) is aired on ESPN, the 50-plus former superstar starts to get nostalgic. Cue training montage! The inevitable showdown takes place in Las Vegas in a finale that brings proper closure to one of the most inspiring sagas of our time.

I had the opportunity to be at the filming of this movie in Las Vegas. The excitement was unbearable! I still get goosebumps each time I watch it.
