Rohde Black Shoes for Man

These are my hubbys old shoes. Its branded Rohde, and hes been using them for almost five years now (before we got married). He said they were gift from his parents, gift for getting a job right after he graduated. So yeah, he was proud at that moment. These shoes are meant for formal occasions, and definitely my hubby doesnt wear these when going to work. Hes a factory worker so he wears special shoes at his workplace. When hes invited to seminars, or attending a wedding party, or any other formal events, he would wear these, although the synthetic leather (the material is of synthetic leather) is starting to peel off. The heels part looks pretty solid, though. And they never make him slipped. Even when I bought him new shoes he still wears these. When I asked him why, he said because they were very comfortable to wear, and that he intended to wear these shoes til they are completely worn out. Since hes very in love with these shoes, I tried to prevent them from being worn out as far as I can. I put some naphthalene balls into the shoes in the hope that they will slow down the worn-out process. But I dont think it works. Well, these shoes are old, what can I do? :)
