Rolaids Softchews

Since I have acid reflux disease, and take a number of strong medications for other problems, such as diabetes, I have to protect my stomach and esophagus from getting irritated. While I do take Nexium, I find that I still get some acid indigestion at times. So that's when I reach for Rolaids.

Recently, I found a new Rolaids product. It's called Rolaids Softchews. It comes in extra strength, and seems to work pretty well.The package I purchased had 36 fast acting chews, wrapped individually, which makes them convenient to slip in your pocket, purse, or glove compartment. Each chew contains 470 mg of available calcium and 5 mg of magnesium. You can take 2 to 3 chews, hourly if needed, but should not exceed 6 chews in a 24 hour period. The bag is resealable. I did find that the chews are a little difficult to get out of the wrapping, as they are very sticky!

They remind me of the taste of Starbursts, and I like the flavor a little too much! LOL! It's a delicious cherry. Keep away from children, as it tastes a LOT like candy. They are also available in vanilla.
