Roland Cube 15 By Jonny Randall on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a small 18 watt practice amp. It's got your basic Bass, Mids, and Treble adjustments, as well as a clean and distortion channel, with 4 different distortion sounds, Metal Stack, Metal, Distortion and Overdrive. It also has an Auxiliary in jack and a recording/headphones out jack. This amp is about as much as you could expect from a cheap practice amp. The two metal distortions are decent for practicing purposes and the recording out is a plus. Clean channel is decent but has noticeable noise.

Overall this is a decent amp for practicing, and really sounds better on lower volumes. The louder you have it the cloudier the sound becomes. Auxiliary in is also a decent feature because you can run a Cd player for example through the amp for jamming purposes.

Decent amp for a beginner or practicing.
