Rondo Rocker Set By Kyrelth on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Our old knives were the kind with the small grooved serrations in them, so needless to say they were getting a little dull after 10 years. We saw these online and they were a good price, so we ordered them. When they arrived we sat at the dining room table and unwrapped the box. Good grief there was alot of packing. Not only was the wooden block seperately wrapped, but each knife had its own cardboard sleeve and encasing plastic bag. Fortunately each was also numbered to a corresponding slot on the block, which also matched a description in the manual that came with the set. The manual very simply describes the uses of each type of knife, as well as basic care and handling.

We were a bit concerned because the knife blades seemed a bit overly flexible, and the handles are a made of what appears to be a cheap blocky plastic resin. However, the edges have remained sharp, the knives are easy to clean and we havent had any durability issues. For $40 you get a nice variety of knives, including steak knives, bread slicers, and meat cleavers. A good deal overall

Not sure I would like the "flexible" part, but glad they worked for you.
