Roosevelt Wood Pepper Mill By J Montano on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've owned the Roosevelt Wooden Pepper Mill for a couple of years now. For the most part, I have been very happy with it.

This pepper mill is made of a durable wood body with a metel top. The top is a metal crank that you turn. It, at one time, had a finish on the wood to protect it.

I have enjoyed this pepper mill. I think it looks very stylish. I've ground black pepper and also multi-colored pepper corns in this mill. I adjust the top to achieve different grounds, ie, corse or fine, etc.

The pepper mill is easy to fill. The metal top screws off and you just fill it up with the pepper corns of your choice.

Through time and use, the wood protectant has faded or worn off and the wood is not as shinny as it used to be. The black "P" for pepper has also faded. This has only affected the looks of the pepper mill. It still works perfectly. I am slightly disappointed that it has lost it's protective coating, though.

I would probably buy this again.
