Yikes, it was time to color my hair yet again so yesterday morning I got up and went through the routine with a color that was supposed to turn my hair Dark Mahogany Brown. The color sample at the store looked great and although I usually get Dark Warm Brown and this was a another brand (a very good one) than I normally used, I went ahead and decided to give it a try. Well, the color was great except my roots were a very noticable orange pumpkin color!!!! I had never had this happen before so I was in a panick. The comments from the better half were "gee, hon, did you do something to your hair?" and from my daughter "well, mom, your roots are a little more "vibrant"!!!!). I was at my wits end and this morning sent my daughter for Clairol's Root Touch-up as I wasn't going into work Monday morning looking like Carrot Top!! I want to let everyone know if they have this happen to them to please get this product as it worked a miracle for me. My orange roots are gone and I have fabulous shiny dark warm brown hair again. I often looked at this product in the store but figured why bother to do only the roots when you can do a whole head of hair for the same price. I was wrong and will use it again when my roots begin to show, I don't need a repeat of yesterday!!!!

Always wondered if this worked. I hate doing all of my long hair just because the roots are gray.
I like using this but find it goes on much easier if you have another person doing it otherwise I tend to get it all over much like a regular coloring job. I do like the brush for the sides and back of the neck, keeps the color from dripping all over!
