Rose Point Etched Glass Collectable And Functional By BillF on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Me and my wife have been collecting antiques and we got hooked on Rose point patern of depression era glassware made by Cambridge of Ohio. Also, We are collecting Greensboro crocks, and antique furniture but save these for future reviews. There is literally hunderds of antique depression era glassware but Rose point is beautiful and very elaborate glasswork which we find useful for special entertaining. They are acid etched with vines and of course roses. We own the 10 ounce water glasses, 4 ounce juice glasses, and 6 ounce martini glasses. We also have collected a number of side pieces like the candy dish, flower vase, serving bowl, and creamer of the same patern. You should hand wash and be very careful since they are fragile I have unfortuently broken a few. With the economy suffering, the antique market , like most luxury areas, is down but we still enjoy the beauty and funtionality of these pieces.

I have large set of glassware that has different hues of colors as the light hits it. It's beautiful but I am moving to a smaller place and thinking about selling it. Perhaps on E-Bay. Your glassware is beautiful!
