Rowenta Iron DX1700

I bought my first Rowenta Iron 16 years ago. At nearly twice the price of a normal investment it was a huge investment for me. However, I found the Iron cut my ironing time in half and increased the appearance 100%. The level of heat, steam, and power burst instantly zaps wrinkles.I made the investment to press my uniforms instead of a cleaners bill. The appearance was as crisp as the cleaners.
I lent my Rowenta to my sister in law for my brother's uniforms, she said to me when the iron was returned that although the heavily wrinkled shirt seemed impossible to give a professional cleaners pressing appearance, my iron did the job! There is also a vertical steam feature.
When I purchased my iron, it had a rebate, cleaning kit and also ironing board cover. There are many safety features on this iron. I find this very helpful as I tend to answer a phone or start another task and forget the iron. However, the iron has a safety feature if it tips over or is left on, to shut off in seconds. This is the only Iron I will every use or recommend!
I love my rowenta and like you am so glad it has the automatic shut off. You are lucky to get the cleaning kit for free with the iron. I need to find out where to get a cleaning kit for my rowenta...I didn't even know they existed!
I haven't heard of this iron. Of course there are very few clothes that I own that need ironing. I still have the iron that I bought some 20 years ago. It still works...when I make it!
Thanks, I have never heard of this brand but going to check it out. I hate my iron and love the safety features on this. Anything that can cut ironing time is worth every penny in my book. Thanks for information.

Rowenta makes excellent products! I have always had good luck with my Rowenta iron too.

I see Rowenta irons on QVC all of the time & they are quite tempting for me to buy! They look excellent!
