Royal Albert Old Country Roses Glasses

This beautiful set of four crystal glasses was given to me for my birthday. I loved them right away, it was impossible not to. These tall, frosted glasses are hand-painted with purple and yellow roses - the Old Country Roses pattern. The golden rim is actually made with 22 karat gold, as I have learned when I looked up these glasses online. The name Royal Albert fits the set very well, it is hard to describe the feeling you get when you hold this exquisite glass in your hand, with champaign glowing in it through the frosted glass. It does not have to be champaign, of course, and I have noticed that any drink seems to taste better in these glasses.
I have to admit that I rarely use this set, but only because I usually have more than 4 people at the table when I invite company. Perhaps I need to splurge on another set so that I have 8 of these glasses!
They sound like a beautiful addition to your table, dinner for four.
This is one of the oldest and most loved patterns. Ands the glasses are lovely. If you can, buy another set of four and try and add other pieces. The value will increase over time, making these a very nice investment.
Four is never enough if you want things to match. Go for it and get another set!
