We have this shredder at the company where I work.There aren't many good things I can say about it.It is fairly small so it fits nicely under a desk or in a corner.However, that's about all I can say good about.I can only fit maybe 5 pages in the shredder at a time (despite it being a 12 sheet shredder).If I put in more than about 5, the shredding time, which is already extremely slow takes even longer and the chance of it clogging up gets even bigger.

I have not tried to shred a cd, but I have shredded a credit card.That works okay, but not great.I have had cards get stuck half-way before.Clogging this machine up seems to be very easy and it's not easy to unclog once it's clogged.

If you fill it up to much, good luck with trying to get the pull out paper holder out enough to even empty it and if you do, then you should expect to have a big mess that you have to vacuum up.

For a small home office shredder where there isn't a whole lot of shredding, it's okay, but I personally would not purchase it if you need to do a lot of shredding on a daily basis.

It does not sound like a very good shredder for an office. I hope you do not have to shred alot since it goes so slow when you do a few sheets at a time.

I'm so surprised that a place of business would have a shredder like this & it sounds like you found out the hard way that it doesn't work terribly well.

I wish we'd get a bigger shredder too, but we are a very tiny office so I guess they dont' want to invest in anything more expensive. For small jobs & if you keep it cleaned out, it's not too bad.

I have this same shredder at home, and it's not very good. I usually only do two or three sheets at a time, and I'm constantly emptying the waste bucket for fear that it might get so full that I can't get everything out. Sometimes I've even had to sit there for 15 minutes and pick the jammed shredded paper out of the blades from the underside. Not fun!

This looks so nice. Too bad it's not a good shredder.

I guess if it gets the job done,thats all that matters.
