My older son purchased this dart board for his room, but our four year old grandson also loves to play with it. It is safe for any age because the darts have a rubber tip. I would recommend you still supervise younger children with it, because even though the dart is rubber tipped, it might still hurt someone if it is thrown in their eye, for example.
The dart board is made of plastic covered with tiny rounded spikes set close together so that the dart will stick between them when thrown. The board is color coded in different areas for the points it earns. It comes with six darts, which are also plastic with a rubber tip and come in two colors for two players.
If you want a fun, safe dart board for all ages, this is the one to buy.

I bought a similar, but cheaper one and it wouldn't work at all, so you should probably pay attention to the brand that uaezarb recommends.
I love the bright colors of the dart board!
Sounds like an excellent dart board. The rubber tipped darts as a safety feature would definitely put this product choice at the top of my list.
Sounds safer than the usual darts. Good advice though.
