Ruffies Trash Bags Are Trash By uaezarb on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I bought these trash bags because in these tough economic times, I was trying to save a buck and bought the cheapest bags I could find, and I sure got what I paid for! These should be called Rippies instead of Ruffies!
I can't believe this company has the nerve to call these Ruffies and even has "Sure Strength" printed on the package. These have the strength of a wet paper towel! It doesn't take much to cause a tear when anything even slightly pointed makes contact with the side of the bag. I will say, if you try stretching the bag with your fingers, the plastic does stretch, but that isn't enough to keep the bag from tearing. The plastic is the thinnest I have ever seen in a garbage bag.
These come in a tear off roll with twist ties that is packaged in a clear plastic bag, that I have to say is stronger than the trash bag itself!
This is one product I wouldn't recommend to save money. They have a satisfaction guarantee on the package and I intend to use it for a refund.
