Ruger MKIII Hunter

The Ruger MKIII is an excellent .22LR pistol.It is accurate at well over 40 yards with no scope.It is a sturdy, heavy weapon that was designed for a purpose, target shooting and hunting.It comes with 2 magazines, different colored sights, and a trigger lock.If you have big hands and are looking for a plinking pistol/varmit hunter, then this is THE gun to purchase.Although it has a hefty price tag, you will not be disappointed as it is very accurate, reliable, and it looks awesome.The reason I gave it a rating of 3 in "Ease of Use" is that it is a pain to dismantle and clean.After 15 times of cleaning, I still read the manual for reassembling the gun.It is one of the more difficult guns to field strip (which is why everyone curses Ruger.)If you don't mind taking a little longer field-stripping/cleaning your gun, then I would defnitely recommend the purchase of this .22 handgun.
Valuable information about the field stripping. Most people don't remember to consider that factor.
I know nothing about hunting but you certainly brought up an important feature about this handgun having a trigger lock-that's so important & valuable!
Sounds like a fun 22. The price tag made me go "wow".
