Runescape, the MMOG (Massivly multi-player online game). It gets ALOT of bad press, generally beacuse of poor graphics and music compared to it's rival World of Warcraft. However, most people who play WOW, have started out on runescape, simply because runescape free worlds are only a bit smaller than members worlds meaning you can get on there for nothing, train your character up to what you like, gain membership for only £3.20 A month and play in members will all thoughs high levels, unlike WOW. There are three different styles of combat in runescape, meelee, ranged and maged. Meelee is very popular seeing as it is the easiest to learn and use, mage is probally the best simply because it hits high on meeleers, most people are meeleers. Range isn't so popular but it can help in certain dungeons. There are a few other skills such as cooking, firemaking, smithing (where you can make your own armour) and loads more. And in members you can get added skills like, construction (where you can build your house), hunter (where you hunt for animals to get their loots) and even Summoning!

My son is 10yrs old and enjoys RuneScape very much. I agree, the graphics are not that great but for a 10yr old it is an adventure. I do have a membership plan for him $5.95 a month. A membership will allow access to more skills, more places to visit, allows additional and better amour, more weapons and more quests.
Yup, I play RS too, but they've updated the graphics a lot, if you play in high detail, the graphics are really good
