Runner's World By Whoahsweet on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Runner's World is a great magazine to read if you are new to the world of running. The magazine covers everything that a new runner would like to know, such as safety tips since running is hard on your feet, training tips for running extended periods or for sprints, and gear such as the latest running shoes or electronic devices like mp3 players or pace recorders. There is a bit of running philosophy injected into the magazine every now and then to keep your spirits up as well as tips to help you overcome the runner's lows such as extended periods of adverse weather or pain that prevents you from advancing. Good nutrition and recipes are also included since pasta and breads get stale quickly.

Overall, I only suggest Runner's World for new people. It is a great magazine, but there's only so much you can write about running and once you get a year, another year might be too much and might contain too much repeat information.
