Ruudglas Pacemaker Electric Water Heater is OK

I have a Ruudglas Pacemaker 40 gallon electric water heater in my new home. I live alone, so a 40 gallon capacity is more than enough to suit my own hot water needs. The Ruudglas Pacemaker 40 gallon electric water heater has an Energy Guide estimated yearly operating cost of $508, but the water heater is very well insulated and doesn't suffer from heat loss, so it doesn't cost me anywhere near that much for the amount of hot water that I actually use. When I put my hand on the side of the water heater, it's still cool to the touch, not warm or hot as it would be if I was wasting electricity through heat loss.

The Ruudglas Pacemaker electric water heater comes with a 6 year limited warranty, and it has an estimated life span of about 10 years before it will need to be replaced. Some of the things that I like about electric water heaters is that I'm not afraid of installing one myself, and I don't have to worry about venting the water heater outside to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. So far, I've had no problems with the Ruudglas Pacemaker 40 gallon electric water heater.
