Having kinky, curly, unruly hair is sometimes more of a curse than a blessing. I've found that in order for my hair to 'behave' the way I want it to, I need to have the right products. There are very few product that I consider a key element in my regimen and Sabino the Orginal Moisture Block is one of the products.
What it Sabino Moisture Block? Well, I'll start by telling you what it isn't. It doesn't 'claim' to be no-frizz or to 'use to prevent frizz' like most other products on the market do. It actually delivers. Sabino Moisture Block is the only product that waterproofs and completely eliminates frizzy hair in any climate. It is not water soluble, like most other frizz prevention products, which is the main ingredient in other products. Water actually causes frizzy hair and that's why those products do not work.
Sabino Moisture Blocks ingredients are Dimethicone and Cyclomethicone. Together, these ingredients combine to block humidity and balmy conditions that can wreak havoc on curl;y, kinky hair. It is clear is color with a thick syrupy consistency. To use it, a little dap is all you need. Rub your hand together and pat, srunch or brush it into your hair. Then blow dry and flat iron or dry naturally.You'll have waterproof, shiny hair!
The only caution is to ensure that you clarify with a clarifying shampoo as the silicones in this product will coat the hair and prevent moisture from getting in. Moisture is actually beneficial for dry hair. So if you have dry hair, limit use of this product or use moisturizing hair oils and then seal with Sabino Moisture Block. I tend to use Sabino Moisture Block when I do blow outs or flat iron on special occasions as this is one product that actually does what it says it will do - block moisture!

The person that wrote this article is not clear on a few things. 1. Moisture Block made by Sabino Hair Solutions is not made by that company anymore and the product is being made illegally. We currently have a lawsuit pending against the producer and the beauty suppliers or distributors retailing this Moisture Block especially on the internet. 2. The moisture content of the hair is established once the hair has been shampooed and conditioned. Moisture Block, now named Lok & Blok by Sabino Hair Solutions locks in the essential moisture into the hair shaft until the next shampoo. Moisture is the key to healthy, stronger hair so Lok & Blok accomplishes that goal. 3. A clarifying shampoo is not necessary when shampooing out Lok & Blok (aka Moisture Block). Any shampoo will do. 4. Yes, Lok & Blok (aka Moisture Block) will block out excess moisture to keep your hair from reverting back to frizz whether flat ironed or dried naturally. 5.
