Purchased at: Target     Price: $4.00 USD

After passing an end cap at Target I just so happened to stumble upon AfterBite. I figured I should give it try because we often get bitten by bugs, (no see-ums, mosquitos, fireants, etc.) I got a mosquito bite on the top of my foot where my skin gets easily irritated by scratching & so I decided to try it out. I rubbed it on & the ointment felt quite soothing with a cooling feeling. The smell is also soothing, it has a Vicks/Noxema smell which I like. The itch did come back a while later & I just reapplied as needed. On the box it says to reapply as needed. Now I always have AfterBite on hand for the kids & I. Everytime they get a bite they run to apply it on themselves & I don't have to worry since the kids version is more of a natural version. I did try the original AfterBite & the odor was a bit strong & reminded me of the smell when coloring your hair. It does sting if there is a bit of irritation to the skin from previous scratching. I recommend the Kids Afterbite for anyone looking for a natural type of anti-itch cream.

Sounds like something I should use, if its child-safe it should be pretty mild but effective.
