Safety 1st Booster Seat By Mary60 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
The Safety 1st booster seat for the toddler who wants to eat at the table. Use is for ages 6 to 18 months. With the tray it makes most chairs into highchairs . It has straps to attach to your kitchen chair, with a strap between the legs. This seat can be adjusted for height, by moving the seat to another postion. It is made of sturdy plastic and is easy to clean. Downfall to this product is the safety(name Safety1st). Not for the child that doesn't sit well , and unattended child, or parent not paying attention. Hopefully the use is under supervision only. I use this seat, but with much attenion to the child. Also never use as a car seat bath seat or on table tops. Safety is important.

It sounds like a great idea to make any seat into a high chair, but your right saftey would have to be first. You have not added a picture so I am only guessing here but is the danger part due to the fact that the seat itself only sits on the chair and does not attatch to it in any way? You say you can strap the child to this seat but nothing suggests the seat has and straps to attatch it to the chair.
If this is the same booster I'm thinking of, you can strap it to the back of the chair, but I always recommend sticking close to the child while in the seat...they can really move sometimes! Thanks for the info.
Could be dangerous! I wouldn't even take a chance on this one! Thanks for the warning!!!
I will keep this in mind when my grandson is ready for a booster seat. Thanks for sharing the information.
You make very valid points when you said that children should be left unattended & that parents should always pay attention to their kids when they are in the seat.
Good, brief, to the point description of this booster seat.
Thanks for telling me about this one. We are in the market for a high chair right now. I have tried some Safety 1st products and they are the least SAFE of all. I do not like that brand any more.
Great product, but you are right a child should always be supervised. Safety does come first.
