Safety 1st Cabinet Flex Lock, 2 Pack By halcammom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Our 18 month old toddler will get into anything and everything that he can. He loves to open doors and drawers. We purchased the Cabinet Flex-Lock 2 pack at Home Depot in hopes of keeping him out of our armoire! Well, these did the trick! He can no longer open those armoire doors!

The Cabinet Flex-Locks are very easy to use. Loop one end of the lock around one of the knobs. Loop the other end around the other knob if not too tight. If it is too tight, push the large square button in the middle plus the small rectangle button on the side you wish to loosen. Loosen the side up that you need to and loop it round the 2nd knob. Once both loops are round the knobs, pull on one of the ends to tighten. When you need to open the doors, push the square button in the middle and the small rectangle button on the side you wish to loosen. Gently loosen the flex-lock and open the door. It is difficult to explain how to use them. However, once you get them, it's pretty self explanatory.

Also, they work great on French doors too. We have French doors leading to our bathroom. There are small knobs and not actual door knobs. Now, we are not constantly trying to keep him out of the bathtub! He loves to get in the bathtub and he can climb in there so fast!

I am so happy that we found these. They now keep our little boy out of the cabinets that he doesn't need to be in and out of the bathtub.
