When making you list of things for baby, a baby monitor should be one of the things on your list.

When I was pregnant for my daughter in 2004, I knew we had to get a baby monitor. And I also had seen they were being made with 2 receivers, so I knew that was the type I wanted. I wanted to be able to have one receiver downstairs and one in our bedroom upstairs, making it easier to hear our daughter from anywhere in the house.

We decided on the Safety 1ST Glow Monitor. Our decision was based on the numerous factors.

1- Safety 1st is a good reputable company( from reviews I had read, and people whom I spoke with)

2- It had the 2 receivers.

3- It could be used cordless just by inserting batteries.

4- The base had a hide away cord, so we weren't going to have 5 feet of cord hanging around my daughter room.

Other than those great features are the base has a soft glow light that you can activate by just gently pushing on the top. I could check on my daughter without having to put on the ceiling light or a lamp. The receiver has two channels, five indicator lights so even if the volume is down you can still see if there is motion going on it the room, and a belt clip if by chance you want to attach the receiver to you if you step outside.

I have used this monitor for my 2 daughters and now my son, so for almost 4 years without any interference or static. It has been very dependable and convenient not having to worry about moving around one receiver from room to room upstairs and down.

I highly recommend the Safety 1st Glow Monitor for all the above mentioned reasons and to give you peace of mind when you little angel is sleeping.
