Saftey 1st Cabinet Door Latches By uaezarb on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I used these drawer and cabinet locks way back when my kids were babies, and now they are useful to have now that I have a granchild that visits often.
Safety 1st makes a wide variety of different style locks. It's easy to find just the right kind for the particular cabinet or door we have. They are a very inexpensive way to have piece of mind that your home is safe from poisoning accidents.
Some locks need no installation, while others are attached with just a couple of screws and easily removed when they are no longer needed.
Although the locks are easy for adults to unlatch, they have shown to be fool proof in our home by keeping the children from getting into things they shouldn't.

Great idea! I will have to remember this when I have kids
Safety is always important around kids, great product!
They are great except for precocious children. My best friend's son used to go around showing the baby sitters how to open the drawers. It was too funny! He could take anything apart!
That's the best way to keep the kids safe!
We have these too, they keep our 2.5 year old out of places he shouldn't be, they work great!
These are Godsends!!! We still have some around our house!
My wife and I wanted to use these latches on our kitchen drawers, but for some reason the drawers and the latches with not line up right. Thanks for sharing.
These are a must in any home where children live and play. We have them on every cabinet and closet door in our home to keep my grandson safe. Thanks for sharing this valuable information.
We used these Safety First Latches and they held fine. It gave us peace of mind knowing there was little chance one of the toddlers would get into something dangerous.
These are a gresat must have for anyone who has kids over at their house. Hopefully more people will install these.
