Saks And Violins By Mary Daheim By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Saks and Violins is a humorous murder mystery in the bed-and-breakfast series written by Mary Daheim. Judith McMonigle Flynn owns a bed-and-breakfast, and she finds her share of murder in her day-to-day activities. In this mystery, she and others are annoyed by the loud violin playing of Rudi Wittener. Judith finds herself hosting a party for Rudi at her bed-and-breakfast, a party in honor of Rudi's mentor, Dolph Kluger. But things are really out of tune when Dolph ends up poisoned, and Judith has another dead body on her hands and another mystery to solve.

If you are interested in reading mysteries with wit, you will enjoy reading Saks and Violins. The more of Mary Daheim's bed-and-breakfast mysteries I read, the more I like them. This book was entertaining and had some nice twists that kept me guessing. I enjoyed reading it, and am going on to more of Mary Daheim's books.

For lighthearted entertainment, Saks and Violins will strike up the right tune.

I love to read writers who write in series so this seems to be right up my alley. Thanks!
