Sakura Hand Body Lotion In Cherry Blossom Review By RachelReviews on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I received this sample the other day from a promotion through Walmart. I wasn't sure what this would smell like. I haven't smelled many cherry blossoms. The only time I can recall being around such a bloom is when I was under a weeping cherry tree, which was quite some time ago.

I picked this fragrance as my selection because I was curious. I remembered when Bath and Body Works came out with a Cherry Blossom collection. It intrigued me too, but I hadn't been able to get to a store to try any of those products out. I realized this was a great way to experience cherry blossom firsthand.

This lotion smells like an expensive perfume. It doesn't smell like a drugstore product. It smells sweet, complex and slightly powdery. It is a rich cream, but is light and greaseless, at the same time. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, but not overly so.

It has good emollients in it, like shea butter, cocoa butter, soybean oil, and soothing aloe vera. It also has Vitamin E and C to nourish.

The perfumey smell is not for me, but I think others could like it very much. I enjoyed the formula of the cream, so I would be amenable to buying it in another scent. For more information on the company see here: link.
