Sally Hansen - Hard As Nails Protects and Shines

This product has been a part of my life since I was a teenager, more years ago than I care to count. My mother was a faithful consumer of Hard As Nails and I have followed in her footsteps (or should I say fingernails?). Throughout the years, I've tried nearly all the various brands of nail polish in varying colors, but I always went back to Hard As Nails. Personally, I prefer the clear formula as it doesn't show much if some chips off, so touch-ups are a breeze. Even more important, this product definitely makes my nails stronger. When I have used something else or nothing at all, my nails break more frequently. I recommend using at least two coats for extra protection. To me, even short nails look better if there is some shine on them and this is also my choice for my toes in the summer. It's amazing what a coat of nail polish will do to give you a more finished look and if it's helping your nails at the same time, that's even better.
