Sam-E Complete

SAM-e (short for S-adenosylmethionine, alsospelled SAMe) is made from the amino acid methionine and ATP. SAM-e is a methyl donor involved in the making of dozens of important compounds in the body. SAM-e has been available by prescription in Europe for many years as an antidepressant but has been available over the counter in the US only since about 1996. Dr. Ascanio Polimeni, a physician in Rome, Italy, says,"Some doctors in Europe prescribe SAM-efor the therapy of many conditions, including depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia."

I feel I gave Sam-E Complete a good try, I took it daily 30 min before breakfast for over 3 weeks. AND I was quitting smoking at the same time, so I was hopeful about the "mood enhancement" part of it.

BUT I really did NOT notice any difference in my mood. I have seen people comment that it seemed to help their joints, I did NOT notice that either.

I have priced this product at approximately $30 for a 30 day supply. The instructions say if one does not seem to help, then try 2/day. So that would be an expenditure of $60/month. Not worth it to me. I am better off with my multi vitamin and daily exercise (and a glass of wine to put me in a good mood).
