Samsung 19 LCD Widescreen Computer Monitor

When I went out shopping for a new computer monitor, I was looking for two things. One was that it had to be a LCD monitor. The image is better. It weighs less and it takes up less space. Also, I wanted a 19" monitor. I like a large monitor but did not want it to be too big.

When I went to Office Depot, they had many different monitors on display. I was immediately attracted to the Samsung monitor. I have had Samsung televisions in the past and they have proven to be a good quality brand. The picture quality for this monitor seemed to be better than many others that were on display. It has a 1440x900 resolution. It also has a 160 degree vertical and horizontal viewing angle which is great if you are moving around at your desk or other people are also viewing the monitor, maybe watching a dvd etc.. Office Depot had this monitor in widescreen or square. I definetly preferred the widescreen. I think it just looks better. The monitor weighs about 15 pounds which makes it easy to move around on your desk. It has a very clear and crisp picture. It also has a 2ms response time which is very fast and eliminates blurring images. I thought this was also a very good price considering the size of the monitor.
